Death to Islam Website and Robert Spencer

There is a website called http://www.deathtoislam.org/ which is quite mysterious.

This site has a Blogroll of the following:
American Freedom Alliance.org
American Islamic Forum for Democracy
Anti-CAIR
Anti-Jihad Resistance
Apostates of islam
Jihad Watch.org
Logans Warning
No Victory Mosque Petition

The site lists only two contributors:  “anti islam” – Google News, and Jihad Watch

Their “about” page says only:

The Death to Islam Organisation is about people of the free world uniting against the atrocities of radical Islam. May I start off by saying this global movement of anti-Islam is NOT ABOUT US KILLING PEOPLE. It is about saving current democracy cultures and establishing new ones to the east by eastern cultures welcoming democracy for freedom values.

However, there are local pockets anti-Islam extremist groups forming in all corners of the globe. Do we endorse them to protect democracy? When it comes down to it the answer is yes. We would rather not see extreme violence against radical Islam but most of the time it is used. Used for a purpose, to save the rights of free people.

We invite peaceful Muslims who understand free world democracy to join us in our crusades to speak out to Islamic radicals and not be scared by your own internal culture.

A great anti-Islamic reference website to refer to is: http://thereligionofpeace.com/. Their program maybe anti-islam however they show the day to day victories of radical Islam against freedom. Our website will focus on updates of pro anti-Islam events and victories. Something you hardly see in the mainstream media.

The Death to Islam Organisation unites all anti-Islam resistance groups and organisations together across the globe in to one cultural movement. The movement of a free world.

The passage that I have highlighted in bold is clearly a statement in support of violence against Muslims.

All of the posts on the site that are not from google news are from Jihad Watch and say posted by Robert, or posted by Marisol or the anti-jihadist (who also post regularly on Jihad Watch).  If you click “continue reading” on any of these posts they take you to the Jihad Watch site where the article was originally posted.

Death to Islam seems to have gone online in October of 2010 as there are no posts before that date.  A Who is search for the site turns up almost no information except that they are located in San Mateo, California.  They list no staff, no real information about who they are. 

This will require some investigation, but it looks as if this may be another site like those noted in our article Spencer, Geller, Yerushalmi, Gaffney: Attempt to Conceal Evidence of “Truth-Telling” about which we noted:

In our lengthy article collection on Robert Spencer we have noted:  “The existence of website url’s “f**kallah.com” & “f**kislam.com” which redirected people to Spencer’s Jihad Watch site and which Loonwatch first brought to the attention of the Muslim community.  After Loonwatch noted these sites, the redirection to Jihad Watch suddenly stopped and Spencer denied having any involvement in the two sites.  The two sites still exist but now take visitors to another site with photographs of the 9/11 tragedy.”

If Robert Spencer is not connected with this site, then I would expect that he would post a refutation of the site, and a demand for them to stop publishing his material from Jihad Watch.  I would most of all expect him to denounce their clearly stated approval of violence against Muslims.
