Saeed A. Khan [sk1967@aol.com] is a research fellow at the Institute for Social Policy & Understanding: a Michigan-based think tank promoting the study and analysis of U.S. social and domestic policy, and by extension, U.S. foreign policy. His areas of study include globalization, genomics and Islamic political thought. Among his publications is: “Orientalism and Western Concepts of Race and Difference in Science,” in Nature’s Encyclopedia of the Human Genome. Mr. Khan holds a B. A. degree in medieval literature from University of Michigan and a Law Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is currently a graduate student at Wayne State University pursuing a Masters degree in the Department of Near East Studies.
