Fatimah Binta Musa Iliasu, L.L.B., L.L.M.
With interests in Islamic, Corporate, Commercial and International Law, Fatimah Iliasu is currently completing her studies at the Harvard Law School, where she is a candidate for a Doctorate in Juridical Sciences (S.J.D.). Ms. Iliasu’s work has included advising Muslim women and teaching about Islam to both Muslims and non-Muslims at Wellesley College. At Harvard she has participated in the Islamic Finance Information Program and worked on the Harvard International Law Journal. Her own writing has included papers on “Polygamy and the Status of Muslim Women in Nigeria” and “Peace keeping Under the Organization of African Unity Charter.”
