A graduate of Washington & Lee School of Law, Ahmed presently serves as MPAC’s National Director. Ahmed is the author of a book entitled American Muslims: Voir Dire (Speak the Truth), a post-September 11 look into the reality of debate surrounding American Muslims and their country, a publication that has swept several cities in the Muslim world since its translation into Arabic. He has made guest appearances on numerous television and radio shows, including the following: Foxs ғThe OReilly Factor,Ҕ Dayside with Linda Vester,Ӕ The Alan Colmes Show,Ӕ Heartland with John Kasich,Ӕ and Fox News Live; PBSs ғThe Fred Friendly Seminars; the Trinity Broadcasting Networks; Sinclair Broadcasting; and ԓTalk of the City with KPCCԒs Larry Mantel. Since joining MPAC, Ahmeds work has also been featured in several leading newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, Associated Press, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Tribune, and Los Angeles Times. Ahmed is a regular speaker in government conferences and events on topics such as terrorist financing, public diplomacy and issues affecting the Muslim American community. Before joining MPAC, his endeavors included interning at the Office of the Legal Counsel of the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations. He was assigned to the Office of the Special Advisor to the Secretary General on Iraq. Ahmed has studied extensively in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
