Dr. Mohammad Shafi
Dr. Shafi is a retired Management Consultant, Professor, and business executive. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dar al Islam, Secretary of the International Board of Directors of the Minaret Business Association, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Inner-Attainment Television. He serves on the Board of Advisors of Karamah and has served on the Board of Directors of The Islamic Center of New England and the Advisory Committee of the Zaytuna Institute. Dr. Shafi has also been associated with a variety of business, social, and religious organizations as founder, co-founder, or officer. He was the President of Skylight Holding Company, Chairman of Boston Electronics, a Member of the executive committee of the Ahle-Sunnat-wal-Jamaat Association of Trinidad and Tobago, a Founder and President of the Islamic Center of New Mexico and of the Association of Pakistani Scientists and Engineers of North America. Dr. Shafi has a Ph.D. from Georgetown University an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico, and has diplomas in many business disciplines. He received his education in Tafseer and Fiqh from his father, who was a prominent scholar in the North West Pakistan with ijaza in many texts of Tafseer and Hanafi Fiqh, and the teacher of hundreds of students.
