Pamela Geller discovers sticker jihad

by Sheila Musaji

Be afraid, be very afraid.  It seems that there is a Muslim loose in Washington, D.C. who has somehow gained access to some stickers and a marker.  This “Muslim supremacist” is writing verses of the Qur’an on these stickers and putting them up all over Washington, D.C.  This Muslim has access to vast sums of money to pursue this sticker jihad plot, and must have spent at least $20 already on stickers, a marker, a Facebook page, and a blog site.  One of the stickers was used to deface an AFDI ad so horribly that almost one entire word was covered by the HUGE “hate-filled” sticker.  This is “Islamic oppression and brutality” at its worst.  The majority of the American Muslim community supports this jihad, a SHOCKINGLY large percentage of them (at least 35) have liked this individuals Facebook page.  That means that this is a “concerted effort” by the “enemies of freedom” to destroy the free speech rights of all REAL Americans.  This “is a serious free speech issue”.  A hero, and lots of money is what is needed to fight this attack by “savages” on the very foundations of Western Civilization.

Never fear, Pamela Geller will stop this nefarious plot.  All she needs is for her supporters to send her lots of money, so that she can continue waging her battle for truth, justice, and the American way.  Here are just a few of the previous jihad plots that Geller and her intrepid “freedom warriors” have uncovered:

An Eid Celebration for Muslim Special Needs Kids was described as a “stealth jihad”.  A children’s page in a newspaper focusing on Eid was described as a toxic propaganda plot.  Joel Hinrichs (a Christian) had a beard and had walked through the parking lot of a campus mosque thus proving that his crime was an example of sudden jihad syndrome.  Leon Alphans Traille, Jr., the Arlington, Virginia Mall Bomber was accused of possible “sudden jihad syndrome” just because he had a beard, obviously, a case of beard jihad

Tyler Brehm who carried out the Hollywood shooting jihad was accused of “sudden jihad syndrome” because he shouted something that one witness from the Philippines said he might have shouted “Allahu Akbar”.  This report was not backed up by any other witnesses.  The awful April 2007 shooting at Virginia Tech by a Korean student was also called Islamic jihad because Cho’s father had once worked in Saudi Arabia (before he was married and before Cho was born).  A Muslim doctor had a heart attack and died at the wheel of his car which then crashed into a shopping mall and this was described as “vehicular jihad”.  A Muslim cab driver objected to what he considered pornographic ads on the roof of his cab, and that became a stealth-jihad plot to impose Sharia on America.  Any Muslim who has sued an employer for violation of their rights under the EEOC is engaged in employment jihad, or litigation jihad.  Muslim environmentalists are said to be actually engaged in “civilizational jihad”.  A cartoon series “The 99” aimed at young Muslims was described as “cultural jihad”.  The victims of the terrorist attack of 9/11 included Muslims, they were accused of dying as martyrs in an act of jihad. Muslims hoped to open a Muslim hospital in the U.S. and that was called hospital jihad.

The Islamophobes have uncovered countless examples of “shocking” Muslim jihad plots.  They have uncovered:

bumper sticker jihadThanksgiving turkey jihadpaisley scarf jihadmarriage to important men jihadspit jihad —  fashion jihadspelling bee jihadrape jihaddefacing dollar bills jihadpopulation jihadcreeping Sharia jihad —  mosque building jihadterror baby jihad“creeping Sharia” jihadpedophilia jihadbus driver prayer jihadforehead bruise jihadpostage stamp jihadsoup jihad —  banning alcohol jihadfake hate crimes jihadpiggy bank jihadtv reality series jihadhandshake jihadprom jihadinterfaith jihadArabic language jihadpublic school jihadreligious accommodation jihadCrescent moon jihadChristmas tree tax jihadoath of office jihadimmigration jihad community fundraiser jihadpublic school/madrassa jihadpost office jihadfood jihadpyramid jihadcrucifixion jihad in Egyptfireworks jihadcomputer donation jihadcivic participation jihadOlympic “judo” jihadstealth name jihadpre-violent jihadLove jihadfashion jihad 2#MyJihad ad jihadtalk show host jihadart museum jihadHalloween jihadDNC Muslim Prayer Jihadcat crucifixion jihad in GhanaScottish Muslim women’s stealth jihadanti-democracy jihadun-neighborly Musims in Paris jihadjihad on Christopher ColumbusIranian smallpox jihadMuslim Christmas grinch jihad#MyJihad twitter jihadMuslim takeover of National Parks jihad

Nothing is too trivial to escape the eagle eyes of these “defenders of Western civilization” against devious Muslim stealth jihad plots.  Christina Abraham (a Muslim) has a name that is not recognizably Muslim enough and so we have stealth name jihad. And, if a Muslim somewhere is not doing anything at all suspicious, then they are engaged in pre-violent jihad.

The background of this current nonsense:

The Qur’an Project 2013 has a Facebook page which has photographs of notes that have been put up by whoever this individual is - all of the photos are of handwritten verses posted on public places all in the DC area.  The page has only 35 likes and seems to have gone online about May 26th.  The website has one page and shows the same photos that are on the Facebook page with only this one statement:

This blog is dedicated to a year long project of changing the percetion of Islam in an artistic manner. As many of you know that the depiction of Islam has been very negative in the U.S. especially with the recent ads that have been circulating around major cities and subway stations. In order to protest such acts in a positive manner I have decided that I will post verses of the Quran around different locations around different locations in Washington DC. It will start small and I hope to expand this project to hadith, poetry etc. as it progresses. I will try to update on a daily basis with pictures of where I put my colorful cards and what verses I select. This project is not about me and I don’t want my name associated with this project. This is about the idea of proud Muslims trying to eliminate stigmas against Islam and to fight Islamophobia in a positive and peaceful way. Please feel free to submit any ayats, hadith etc. that you would like me to post or just post your own cards and submit a picture to the site if you wish. It would be super cool and amazing if you guys saw one of these cards and took a picture of it and submitted it to this site with your thoughts, comments etc.

There is a second “history page” that shows photos going back to January.

This seems to be a project by one individual, and none of the photographs of the handwritten Qur’an quotes are shown defacing any posters.  There is no request for anyone to do so.  The stickers shown are on trees, benches, lightposts, etc.

Pamela Geller, however is angry that someone supposedly posted a Qur’an quote on one of her ads.  She posted Anti-Free Speech Thugs Deface AFDI Islamic Apartheid Ads in which she said:

“Muslim supremacists, desperately afraid that Americans might finally learn the truth about Islamic oppression and brutality, seek to destroy and deface our ads with hate and hate-filled Islamic texts. There is a concerted campaign to vandalize our ads. They are coming down almost as fast as they are going up. This is a serious free speech issue—the enemies of freedom know they can’t refute us, so they have to try to shut us up.

Help us keep these ads up—contribute to ...  The Muslim thugs and vandals have a website and a Facebook page.

The photographs that she includes of her “defaced” ads shows one ad with a very small typewritten Qur’an quote stuck in the corner that lists at the bottom the website of The Qur’an Project 2013.

The verse on the sticker is:  Weigh with justice and do not fall short in the balance  Qur’an 5:9.  This is what Geller calls a “hate-filled Islamic text.”

All of this is very curious as not one of the Qur’an project ads are typewritten or printed.  Anyone could have taken it on themselves to print up such a sticker.

This is an awful lot of hype about nothing at all.   Pamela Geller could save herself a lot of time by simply using the Pamela Geller:  Shrieking Harpy Rant Generator
