‘Occupation 101’ Film Offers Historic Perspective on Palestinian-Israeli Conflict

As we observe the 60th Year Anniversary of the Palestinian ‘Nakba’ or ‘Catastrophe’ that culminated in May of 1948—and which tragically continues until this day…

We would like to bring to your attention a multi award-winning documentary film called Occupation 101 ( http://www.occupation101.com ) for anyone interested in learning and educating others about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

“Occupation 101:  Voices of the Silenced Majority” is a thought-provoking and powerful documentary film on the current and historical root causes of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The film is presented through first-hand on-the-ground experiences from leading Middle East scholars, peace activists, journalists, religious leaders and humanitarian workers whose voices have too often been suppressed in American media outlets.

“Occupation 101” has won 8 film festival awards throughout the United States including “The Golden Palm Award”—the highest jury award and honor given at the 2007 International Beverly Hills Film Festival.

Richard Falk from the United Nations Fact-finding Commissioner on Human rights, and Professor of international Law said:

“What I was particularly struck by was that there was not a false note in the entire film—and I cant imagine a better way for the people of this country to finally come to appreciate the reality that Palestinians have been enduring for decades now, then to watch a film of this sort and to reflect upon its relevance to their own lives.”

Nino Simone President of The international Beverly Hills Film Festival said:

“The film that wins the Golden Palm is a film that not only reflects mastery of the filmmaking arts, but of storytelling and humanity…  The winner, in short, is the film that grabs us by body and mind, and never lets go.”

The DVD is AVAILABLE ONLINE and is for SALE for (25%-50% off) at: http://www.occupation101.com
