Shaykh Abdurrahman Mangera

Shaykh Abdurrahman has studied at Darul Uloom Bury in North England (hifz and alim programs), at the Madrasah Zakariyyah in South Africa, at the Rand Afrikaans University in Johannesburg (Honors BA), in Syria and in India. He has studied under such renowned scholars Dr. Abdurrahman Doi, Shaykh ‘Abd al-Razzaq al-Halabi, Shaykh Adib Kallas, Shaykh Mufti Zayn al-‘Abidin and Shaykh Muhammad al-‘Awwama of Medina Munawwara. He possesses authorization (ijaza) in several fields, ranging from Qur’anic memorization, Hanafi Fiqh and Hadith. He has authored several important works, including: Fiqh al-Imam: Key Proofs in Hanafi Fiqh; Provisions for the Seekers; Reflections of Pearls; and a translation of Mulla Ali Qari’s Fiqh al-Akbar. Shaykh Abdurrahman currently serves as the Imam of the Islamic Society of Santa Barbara.
