Ilham Mahfouze was born in 1956 in Damascus, Syria. and came to USA in 1972. Education:
- 1992 B.F.A. major in Painting and Ceramics, Minor in Art history at Eastern Michigan University.
- 1992 Spring Art History course in Spain with Eastern Michigan university.
- 1992 Artist Entrepreneur course at Eastern Michigan University
- 1989 Associate Degree in Fine Art at Oakland community College.
- 1979 Certificate in Interior Design from LaSalle university in Chicago.
