Iran Earthquake

On Tuesday, February 22nd a powerful earthquake hit Sarbagh, Iran (Feb. 22) The earthquake flattened villages and collapsed mud-brick homes in central Iran. Early counts are 300 dead and nearly 1,000 injured but the toll is rising.
When the story went on AOL at http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20050221231909990002 - within hours numerous messages appeared on the AOL messageboard http://boards.aol.com/aol/artlist.mbl?boardId=550610 regarding the story about the earthquake. Almost all were negative.
It was painful to read these messages, but once I started I couldn’t stop. The preponderance of hate filled messages was startling. I wondered who these people were, were they my neighbors or people I work with? It was difficult to maintain a reasonable attitude and not allow emotion to take hold. Many of these individuals identified themselves as Christians and so few of those showed any compassion for the suffering of fellow human beings. There is obviously a segment among all religions who pervert the teachings of their religion and increase the hate and misery into the world through their perversions.
Whoever, among any religion, or of any nationality, spreads such bigotry and hatred is helping to keep the world in turmoil. We need to decide what sort of a world we want to live in, and want our children and grandchildren to live in, and work to build a more compassionate world. We need love, justice, and peace, and this will never come about until individuals change what is in their hearts.
It would seem that this is an ideal opportunity for Americans to show compassion and reach out to help, and perhaps demonstrate American ideals. This has a chance to change more hearts than military engagement.
Many individuals made statements about the “facts” that Muslims were responsible for 9/11 and that Muslims have not spoken out against such terrorism as justification for their hatred. maybe the Iranians should sacrifice a few virgins as a gesture of appeasement, say, around 70 or so. it might be the only civilized thing to do.

I feel awful to say that I have trouble feeling sympathy over this. They hate Americans in Iran. Hell.. There are Iranians living in America who hate Americans. I can only put their fate in the hands of the Lord. I have nothing to say. It’s a shame.

IRAN WAS HIT WITH ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE ABOUT A YEAR AGO, MANY DIED AND MUCH DAMAGE WAS CAUSED. AT THE END OF 2004 INDONESIA WAS SLAMMED WITHA TSUNAMI KILLING OVER 150,000. NOW ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE FOR IRAN. DO YOU THINK THIS IS BECAUSE THE HIGHER POWER IS DISGUSTED WITH THE BEHAVIOR OF THE MUSLIMS? I KNOW MANY PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF THE MUSLIMS NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR. THAT PART OF THE WORLD WILL SUFFER GREATER CONSEQUENCES UNLESS THEY CHANGE THEIR NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR. YOU DO DIRT, YOU GET DIRT.
Doesn’t it strike some people with all the natural disasters that are hitting the Muslim Nations that maby, just maby they would turn their hearts to the real God of the Universe and give up this idol worship of Ali? This will not stop until they do. Sorry for the human loss in Iran but there false God, Ali will not and can not save them….Christ Can.
It does seem odd that after the Islamic world has been touting their god will bring down the rest of the world when all of the recent disasters have been in heavily Islamic populated areas of the world. Guess Allah is ticked off at his people. Wonder what took him so long

As they chant, “Death to the Infidels”, God is Smitting them down. God seems to be on our side. Let’s recap the last acts of God, Earthquake in Iran kills hundreds, Tsunmi kills hundreds of thousands, Earthquake in Iran (a few years ago) kills 150,000. I have no sympathy for the devil.
Stuff em. These are the same bastards that cheered when 9-11 happened. Are training terrorests, Sending Terrorests into Iraq to help kill our men and women. Stuff em. Guess we could send aid in form of Food. Lots of Pork Sandwichs. This may make me a bad person but to hell with them. I personaly would like to see more earth quakes there.
