The Gandhi Project aspires to encourage peace and tolerance in the region through the promotion of Gandhi’s principles and philosophy.

Using cinema as a tool, the world renowned film Gandhi has been dubbed into Arabic by Palestinian filmmaker, Hanna Elias, and a group of Palestinian voice actors and artists, allowing its message to be heard in the region for the first time.

Gandhi, dubbed in Arabic, will be screened throughout Palestinian communities (including refugee camps), promoting Gandhi’s philosophy of nonviolent resistance which was successfully used to gain independence for India.

Administered by Relief International-Schools Online in partnership with Palestinian non-governmental and community-based organizations, The Gandhi Project develops a series of educational materials to supplement the film with resources and training materials.

We invite you to join our efforts and become the change you wish to see in the world.
