Dr. Ba-Yunus served as President for ISNA from 1983-1985. Prior to this he served as President of the AMSS from 1975-1976 and as President of the MSA from 1968 - 1969.

Dr. Ba-Yunus is a native of Pakistan and currently resides in New York.

He has published several articles with the Islamic Sociology on the topic of Muslims in North America.
